Pharmacodynamics
Tramadol is metabolized primarily by O- and N-demethylation causes a reduction in motility in the stomach’s antrum and the duodenum, as well as a rise in smooth muscle tone. Paracetamol is considered to provide analgesia by inhibiting prostaglandin production in the brain.
